Lauren Menzies (she/her) is a Founding Product Designer with a diverse background. She began her career as a fine art photographer before pivoting into the tech industry. During this transition, Lauren drew on her foundation in advanced math from her prep school years, which fueled her passion for problem-solving and guided her toward software engineering. In 2020, she completed Fullstack Academy’s Software Engineering Immersive and General Assembly’s User Experience Design Immersive. Since then, Lauren has applied her expertise at notable companies, including Deloitte Digital, a portfolio company within the AI Fund, and various startups.

Lauren has worked on teams of various sizes, collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful products. She has experience leading standups, managing visual designers, and aligning cross-functional teams around a shared vision. Her projects span diverse industries, including fintech, healthtech, tech solutions, and artificial intelligence, giving her a well-rounded understanding of complex problem spaces. Lauren is passionate about understanding users through research and ideation, designing products that create a meaningful, positive impact on their lives.
